Need a Christmas Tree?

Does your family need a Christmas tree? The Christmas Tree Project elves consider all requests for a free tree as well as decorations. Whatever part of the country you are in, the elves try to provide a tree for everyone that requests one, but they can’t make promises.

The best way to request a tree is to email info@thechristmastreeproject.org, explain a little about your situation and share your phone number. For those who don’t have any access to email, may call 719-799-6070.

If needed, the elves can deliver trees in the Colorado Springs and Denver area.

Want to help?
The organization needs trees (live and artificial), decorations, Christmas decorations for the home and cash donations to help decorate trees. The elves can pick up trees in Colorado Springs, if needed. Trees and decorations may be dropped off at Santa’s Workshop at the ValuSource office, 4574 Galley Road, Suite 200E, Colorado Springs, Monday- Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

To donate cash via PayPal, go to thechristmastreeproject.org and click on the Donate button. Cash donations are used mainly to purchase ornaments, lights, candy canes and tinsel for the trees. It takes $20 to fully decorate one tree.

You can also volunteer to be an elf. Elves help in Santa’s Workshop, deliver and pick up trees along the Front Range as well as take care of several other jobs. To volunteer, go to thechristmastreeproject.org and click on the Want to Be an Elf button.

And don’t forget, you too can pay it forward by putting an ad on social media and give away a decorated Christmas tree.
