Want to learn to make stunning, seasonal centerpieces using nothing but the freshest, most unique farm-grown flowers? This class will focus on how to form the basis of a strong low centerpiece, a statement piece that can be seen over at the table without having to peek around. Low centerpieces can be tricky due to the mechanics needed. You will be provided with all the knowledge and materials you need to make stunning pieces of floral art at home in any container.
Watch an instructional class taught by a farmer-florist (12 years of floral design under her belt) while sipping a glass of complimentary wine or cocktail, before diving into your own bucket of flowers. Class includes all materials, including mechanics, vase and clippers. Please bring your own gloves if you so desire. Though this class runs each month, no two classes are the same. Depending on what is available in the field, the flowers will be different each month and different vessels will be used. So feel free to sign up for more than one. Cost is $145.
June 5, July 3, August 7 and September 4, 6-8 pm. At Blossom & Branch Farm, 2440 Iris Street, Lakewood.
