Mission: Wolf Overnight Camp
Campers Entering 6th-9th Grade
Spend time with the resident wolves of Mission: Wolf Sanctuary, volunteer to support this wonderful organization, and learn all about the role wolves play in ecosystems. Camp beneath the stars as the wolves gently sing us to sleep in the majestic Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range.
Raptor Day Camp
Campers Entering 4th-6th Grade
Wild about birds of prey? Spend a week among these magnificent creatures. Experience what it takes to operate a wildlife rehabilitation facility. This premier camp is very popular and limited to 6 participants, so register early.
Discovery Day Camp
Campers Entering 1st-2nd Grade
Back by popular demand! Spend five days exploring the wonders of the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center’s River and Mountain Park Campuses! Activities include hiking, water play, raptor programs, movement games, songs, crafts, and more.
Greenhorn Backpacking Overnight Camp
June 28- July 1
Campers Entering 7th-10th Grade
Backpack through the Wet Mountains with the goal of reaching the summit of Greenhorn Mountain, the highest peak in Pueblo County! Learn survival skills, backpacking basics, and Leave No Trace Principles.
Mountain Adventure Overnight Camp
Campers Entering 4th-6th
Spend 3 days/2 nights exploring our 611-acre Mountain Park! Lodging and meals provided onsite at our Horseshoe Lodge. Adventures include hiking, survival skills, team-building on our challenge course, nature games, crafts, campfire songs, s’mores, and more.
Raptor Naturalist Day Camp
Campers Entering 6th-10th
This camp takes our Raptor Camp to the next level! Campers are specially trained to handle a bird of prey and present its unique story. The camp is concluded with presentations by our new Junior Raptor Naturalists! This premier camp is very popular and is limited to 6 participants, so register early.
Water & Wildlife Camp
Campers Entering 3rd-4th
Let’s have fun in the sun exploring and searching for local wildlife along the Arkansas River banks and in Pueblo Mountain Park’s ponds and creeks! Adventures include hiking, nature games, and team building, plus paddle boarding and kayaking at Lake Pueblo State Park.
