Date(s) - 09/25/2020 - 11/01/2020
At long last, the Governor’s Art Show is back. After canceling the show back in April due to COVID, the committee rescheduled the event for September 26-November 1, with the gala being held on September 25. The art show has established itself as one of the top two art shows in the state, and among the many reasons, Loveland is at the heart of the arts in Colorado. Out of hundreds of entries, 56 artists were chosen to participate, and two legacy artists were selected to be honored during the show. Only about 20% of artwork submitted is accepted by the jury, making competition fierce and keeping the quality of artwork extremely high and rising each year. The artists come from across the state of Colorado and represent a variety of mediums, techniques and styles.
For the first time ever, the Governor’s Art Show will manage online art sales while also inviting fans to the Loveland Museum for an in-person experience.
Gala on September 25; art show and sale September 26-November 1. Online at governorsartshow.org or at the Loveland Museum, 503 N. Lincoln Avenue, Loveland.
