Mesa Verde National Park
The National Park Service is offering five free admission days to Mesa Verde National Park in 2019. Mesa Verde, Spanish for “green table,” offers visitors a close-up view into the lives of Ancestral Pueblo people with nearly 5,000 archaeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings, which date back from 600 to 1300 A.D. Free admission does not include the cost of camping or tours.
