Dr. Aaron Deter-Wolf, a prehistoric archaeologist with the Tennessee Division of Archaeology, will present a lecture on “Otzi the 5,300-Year-Old Tyrolean Iceman and the World’s Oldest Tattoos.” Deter-Wolf will discuss the life, death and discovery of Otzi, and what the more than 60 tattoos on his body mean about human behavior and the ancient world.
