The electric industry faces challenges today and the 2022 CREA Energy Innovations Summit is a good place to discuss those challenges, work on solutions, hear about research and development and get a glimpse into the future. This year the Summit will be Monday, November 7, at The Westin Westminster Hotel from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

At the 2022 CREA Innovations Summit, you can get answers to questions like: What’s ahead for the electric industry as it transitions from traditional fuels to generate electricity? What’s going to replace coal and gas? How is the grid going to change? What’s happening with electric vehicles? Is hydrogen a possible future fuel source?

Lunch speaker Rob Chapman

Among the many professionals who will share their expertise is Rob Chapman, senior vice president of energy delivery and customer solutions at the Electric Power Research Institute. He will discuss what is needed to enable reliability and resiliency in a net-zero energy economy during the lunch hour.

During the morning and afternoon sessions, other experts will discuss electric vehicle developments, microgrids, hydrogen, battery storage, geothermal energy, small modular reactors and more.

A variety of vendors will also share innovative products during the day-long event. Registration is open at crea.coop to anyone with an interest in today’s electric industry.
