Celtic knots symbolize the ongoing nature of infinity, of God, of nature, of love. Lisa Davies, owner and designer of Saoirse Designs in Louisville, captures these endless ideals in her rings. From an early age, Lisa loved knots and began making macramé plant hangers and jewelry for friends. This eventually led to a fascination with the art of the Celts, particularly the intricacy of Celtic knots, and she wanted to design her own jewelry. Lisa, who designs and makes her jewelry from her home studio, sells her jewelry at Irish and Scottish festivals around the country.
